My Yoga Journey
Yoga found me when I needed it most, and its profound impact on my life inspired me to share this ancient tradition with others. What began as a personal path to healing and self-discovery quickly turned into a passion for teaching and guiding others on their own journeys.
I began my formal training in July 2014 with The Olive Tree, completing a foundational 50-hour course in yoga. In December 2017, I deepened my practice and knowledge with a 200-hour teacher training at Himalaya Yoga Valley Centre, focusing on traditional yoga asana, anatomy, pranayama, meditation, philosophy, and teaching methodology.
Advanced Training & Specializations
In 2019, I returned to India to complete a 300-hour Level 2 certification. My research paper focused on yoga for PTSD, where I developed specialized asana and meditation practices to support trauma recovery. I also received additional certification in Yoga Nidra, studying under the guidance of Cathy French.
In 2024, I expanded my teaching repertoire by completing training in Yin Yoga with Samantha Doyle. Yin has become the perfect complement to my Ashtanga background, bringing balance and stillness to my personal practice and teaching approach.
Teaching from the Heart
After the birth of my two children, I opened my own studio on our family farm, with a breathtaking view of the Sugarloaf Mountains. The studio has become a sanctuary for me and my students—a space where connection, healing, and growth can flourish. I absolutely love teaching here, surrounded by nature’s beauty and tranquility.
Yoga as a Lifelong Practice
Yoga continues to guide me in all areas of life, offering me wisdom, strength, and peace. I’m here to share this practice with others, creating a supportive environment for anyone looking to connect with themselves, heal, and grow.
